Oh my gosh...
O H . M Y . G O S H .Funnest and most jawdropping New York City trip EVER.
Okay so yeah... it turned out to be about 5 times as cool as I expected and at a couple points in the trip I was so happy I started crying. FOR REAL. NO JOKE. SRSLY.
So yeah... THIS >
[link]was fucking amazing... and I don't usually use that word, but that's how amazing it was... it was FUCKING amazing.
Stuff I never thought I would ever get to be in the same room with was THERE. TONS AND TONS OF BURTON DOODLES, TONS OF THEM ;A;
Oh god, my new favorite Burton character is Roy the Toxic Boy <333333 He's awesome LOL.
OH GOD, but Robot boy is just as cooollll :C (he's the one in that commercial up there >.> )
And there was a mechanical sculpture of Robot boy that was about 2/3 my hight and his EYES LIT UP and every once in a while his antennas would move and he had a claw that would SNAP SHUT really fast XDD it scared me half to death since he would be PERFECTLY QUIET AND STILL until this happened XD Yeah, I can't decide :C robot boy pwns as well :T
So yeah there were tons of pictures that he actually drew and they were all crazy amazing... he had a bunch of blacklight paintings too which were so cool <3
ANDOHMAIGOD...
THE COOLEST THING ;A; THEY HAD PROPS FROM ALMOST ALL HIS MOVIES X_X
LIKE costumes from BATMAN and EDWARD SCISSORHANDS! And helmets from PLANET OF THE APES and the hessian's CAPE from SLEEPY HOLLOW ;A; HOMG *dies*
AND THERE WERE CONCEPT DRAWINGSSSSS and
ACTUAL PUPPETS FROM THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS *dies for good* AND FFFFFFFFFFFFFFF THEY HAD ALL THE CHARACTER PUPPETS FROM CORPSE BRIDE WHICH WAS LIKE 9/Coraline TO ME WHEN IT CAME OUT LOL <3333 *becomes a zombie then dies again*
OH GOD it was all so amazing... SO FUCKING AMAZING. And I spent
ALL BUT TEN OF MY 120 DOLLARS ON TIM BURTON STUFF. AND I DIDN'T CARE.
spent last 10 on giant swirly lollipops at the NBC store XDD Couldn't afford the saucer sized ones, but I got the next best ones, which were the size of the palm of your hand

BUT I DIGRESS.
SO YEAH TIM BURTON SHOW GETS MANY A THUMBS UP. *attemps to give thumbs up with hands AND feet and stops before I injure myself*
I would have gotten stuff for friends but I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT HAVE THE MONEY... usually I have 200 dollars to mess around with, and this year I was like SCREW IT, I am too selfish to buy any of this amazing stuff for anyone but me or mom XD *stoned to death*
I did actually swipe 2 extra pamphlets but only best friends are getting those... believe me I am not being mean, I really do feel bad ;A; SO yep... words (however many I may type) cannot describe how awesome this art show was.
The ONLY bad thing was that I couldn't take pictures, because if I got caught, they'd take my camera and kick me out :C
bastards XCBUT ANYWAYS,
It wasn't ALL Tim Burton that made my night awesome... (although it was almost all of it LOL)
It was also the BEST SLICE OF PIZZA I HAVE EVER EATEN. Why we waited to have PIZZA in NEW YORK CITY until this trip, we may never know. It was delicious and it didn't cost too much SURPRISINGLY LOL. Well, not too surprising, since it was pretty far downtown so eats are cheeper there anyways :T
freaking UNBELIEVABLE.
And it RAINED most of the day... but thankfully it stopped fairly early on...
It stopped raining, AND STARTED
SNOWING
OMG and I WANTED it to snow too! AND IT DID... (around this time I started bawling XDD )
The city was SO BEAUTIFUL with just TONS of BIGFAT SNOWFLAKES coming down really fast ;A;
It is an image that cannot UNBURN itself from my fond memories :3
And with the tree in the picture, it was crazy amazing. THE TREE. I can never remember HOW TRULY PRETTY IT IS, until I see it again SITTING THERE in front of me. (It's gigantic too btw, but you probably already knew this) LOL
And the NBC store was so cool~ There was so much stuff from all the cool tv shows but it was kinda expensive so I couldn't get any with my remaining 10 bucks LOL but HEY, that stuff will be there next year, the TIM stuff WON'T.
But I did get those lollipops because THEY LOOKED SO PRETTY. Gosh, when you first walk in it's kinda like a scene from WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY LOL (OGAD I FORGOT TO MENTION that at the Tim show, they had some of the mechanical singing dolls that got set fire to in the scene where Johnny first comes in XDD I almost screamed with joy when I saw them) But yeah, seriously, there was candy EVERYWHERE.
And upstairs you could pay for a tour of the STUDIO but we were broke so I made dad promise that we'd do that next year, along with the TOP OF THE ROCK. (you get to go to the top of the rockefeller building and look out on the city from it 8D )
so yeah, then we walked around, passed a lot of christmas tree sales on the sidewalk, which was surprising... and it started snowing REALLY HARD and I stepped in I giant puddle of ICE WATER and got so mad that I was prepared to trow my hat on the ground and yell some obscenities LOL But thankfully I didn't and we went and got dinner while our stuff dried off about 1 percent LOL
Then we went to starbucks and bugged these people until they left so we could sit down since all the tables were taken LOL and THAT'S WHERE I CALLED YOU, RELL. LOL
So yeah I wanted to look around the bazaar at Bryant Park but we were short on money and time and I was happy so we just got on the bus when it came to pick us all up...
What an amazing day, just unbelievably amazing.
It really felt like I was living my favorite christmas movie, which you should all know what it is by now LOL
